About Us

Since our foundation in 1972, we, the Musikkapelle Großköllnbach, have been a vibrant heart of cultural and social life in our home region, the market municipality of Pilsting. Under the official umbrella of the Musikverein Großköllnbach and as a proud member of the Musikbund von Ober- und Niederbayern (MON), we are dedicated to traditional and modern brass music. Our active camaraderie has connected us across generations for over 50 years.

Our musical year is characterized by a diverse repertoire, providing the right tone for numerous occasions in the region. Whether performing at beer festivals like the Pilstinger Pfingstvolksfest, accompanying banner blessings and church events, playing birthday serenades, or participating in carnival celebrations – we are always happy to accompany them. A highlight is our large annual concert, traditionally held in November at Gasthaus Egerer.
